Teachings From Hyperspace

Setting: Santo Daime Ceremony
Age: 34 (31-34 during experiences)

Inside the infinite circle of the Divine Presence which completely surrounds me, I affirm: there is only one Presence here, it is Harmony, which makes all hearts vibrate with Joy and Happiness. Those who choose to enter here will feel the vibration of the Divine Harmony.

Reintroduction

Raimundo Irineu Serra was born in Brazil in 1892 and migrated to the Western Amazon region in 1912 to work in the rubber tapping industry. He was introduced by local shamans in the 1920s to the brew Ayahuasca, an entheogenic tea from the vine Banisteriopsis Caapi and the leaf Psychotria Viridis. During a period of eight days in solitude in the forest he received visions of the Queen of the Wood, the ‘Rainha da Floresta’ which he recognized as the Virgin Mary. He received the instructions to start a spiritual doctrine, founded in 1930 as the ‘Santo Daime’. Irineu named the Ayahuasca ‘Daime’, which is Portuguese for ‘Give me’.

During rituals, that last several hours, the Daime is served to the participants. Rituals are performed in a hexagonal mandala structure, women on one side, men on the other. In the middle the musicians are seated. Some rituals are healing rituals, others concentration and meditation rituals, some are dancing rituals. The rituals take up to 14 hours.

The Santo Daime is an eclectic religion, mixing elements from Christianity with Brazilian, African and Indian spiritual traditions. The doctrine is transmitted through the singing of hymns; they posses guidelines to receive personal and first hand religious experiences. The following document is a report of these religious or spiritual experiences after my own ingestion of the Daime during a three year period. I wrote them down, as close to the experience as possible, even though most experiences are far beyond words.

"Darkness"

XXXI.

I entered hyperspace and saw demons. Their skin was hard like a shell, they were dark, opaque. They were interested in the angry emotions someone in my social life felt towards me and fed on those emotions. Now they came after me, either trying to scare me, or maybe searching for angry or dark emotions on my part. I was afraid. There were angelic beings, white and transparent. They explained to me how these demons connect to the emotions of humans. They instructed me how to encounter them without fear. First I had to connect deeply to the experience of the living light at the center of the Universe, the radiating source of love. I could feel this source, I saw it radiating light. Then they instructed me to make my heart a mirror, reflecting this love, this source of light. With this reflection in my heart I encountered the demons. My soul, my heart radiated love and light. The demons were not able to come closer and went away.

XXXII. 

I was in the Salão and during the work the weather started to become stormy. Wind blew violently against the building, rain lashed against the windows. I perceived the weather as a conscious being, resonating on the battle going on in our souls. Inside and outside merged in a continuum, reflecting each other.

XXXIII. 

I was in the Salão and opened my eyes. I saw the Evil attack a fellow traveler and trying to disturb the ritual. The traveler vomited and stumbled. Another traveler started to shout, he was angry. I was afraid and did not know where to find peace now that we were being attacked. Everyone kept on singing hymns, which was probably best thing I could have done, as well. After the ritual I felt like I missed the incarnation in my body due to this fear, like I walked half a meter next to my body.

XXXIV.  

I entered hyperspace and stayed connected to the consciousness of my fellow travelers in the Salão. To me it was obvious that the whole group was struggling in an intense spiritual battle. Everyone had to work hard to maintain a connection with the Light, the center of the Salão. A being present explained to me that the spiritual battle of mankind can be condensed, reflected, for a short moment, in a smaller group. He told me that because we transcended space and time, we entered this nonlocal human process of balancing Dark and Light, Good and Evil. Our group was, for a moment, a representation of this larger process.

XXXV. 

I entered hyperspace and met a group of benevolent beings. They told me they wanted to show me what a psychosis looked like. They wanted me to know this, because it could help me understand people better that went through psychotic episodes. They told me to let them guide me and not to panic, like a guide preparing me for a trip through a jungle with potential dangerous animals. We entered something that looked like a maze. It was a place, made of thought constructs. They explained to me that our thoughts, our concepts, our idea’s become something like a building. Yet this building had loopholes in it. It had grown into a maze, where one could walk in circles forever. I could deeply feel how frightening and trapped someone would feel if they would have lost the way out. At the same time I was very happy with my guides and felt safe with there presence, guiding me through this experience.

XXXVI.

I entered hyperspace and was witnessing some awesome colors and patterns. Then some fellow traveler started vomiting during the silence. Instead of disturbing my vision, the sound of vomiting transformed into colors and splattered like Day-Glo colors through my vision, merging and transforming into my vision. The harmony I perceived refused to be disturbed and incorporated the sounds like a perfect creative impulse.

    XXXVII.    

After several occasions where I met the Source of All Light I started to realize that this source could be given a face if we desired to do so: the face of Christ or maybe Buddha, depending on our preferences. During the works I experimented with imaginations I consciously constructed of the face of Christ. At a certain moment I was at home, the day after a long 10 hour work on White Thursday . I started to feel tense, energized and restless when I decided to sit and meditate on the feeling, a bright light started to emerge from inside, overwhelmingly bright. I felt the resurrection of Christ was an inner experience, happening inside my soul.

XXXVIII. 

I was in the Salão during the Santa Missa for the deceased. My vision started to see through the floor. I could see the dead souls not at rest, moving through the earth, attracted to light we emitted. At another occasion I saw a lot of deceased people, just standing along the walls, listening to the hymns we were singing.

XXXIX.

I entered hyperspace and I met my first son that died before he was born. He was a radiation of light, sparkling through space. There was no form, just consciousness and identity. Bubbles of joy sparkled through the air while we encountered. My two other children that are alive entered the scene in hyperspace and connected with our joy.

XL.

In was in the Salão and we were served ‘Mel’. This is a type of Daime that has been boiled a multiple of the time of regular Daime. Due to this extended boiling, the brew becomes much thicker and might taste a bit sweet (that’s also the reason it is called ‘Mel’, which means ‘Honey’) but also contains a multiple of the normal amount of psychoactive substances and its effect is usually much stronger and longer lasting. They serve a third of the normal dose, yet it is still absurdly strong. After ingestion, the effects started to take of. Imagine the strongest you could take before going insane and then go far, far beyond that line. I actually worried about my sanity at that moment, because I understood I saw reality as-it-is, yet this is so far beyond our cultural accepteble paradigms that I worried if I would ever be able to function in our society again. This insight, the truth as-it-is, is unbearable. I saw the blueprints of reality and our unimaginable power as cocreators with and within these blueprints. Everything had meaning, everything was a meaningful part of this collective dream, the smallest movement was a meaningful part of this cosmic harmony. I saw it and I couldn't deny it, I understood it’s clear and undeniable truth, that was the most disturbing of it all. The gap between me and society became so big for an eternal moment. Luckily, I made a safe and strong touchdown, open, sensitive and aware, with a lot of fear purged. The aftereffects were really good, I felt safe and secure, even though I start to feel a true civilian of both realms.

XLI.

I was in the Salão and we were served ‘Mel’. Just after we started to sing the hymns of  ‘O Cruzeirinho’, which we always sing standing, the fellow traveler next to me sat down. He started to look pale and greenish and passed out. I supported his body, so he would not fall to the ground. Then I thought ‘he is dying’ and I saw his soul travel out of his body. I was not afraid he wouldn't come back, so we just kept on singing. After some moments he started vomiting all over himself and with a shock entered his body again and opened his eyes. When the work ended I asked him what happened and he said: ‘I died’.

XLII. 

A being showed me how we construct our own reality, throughout the days. We all live in some frequency or another and pass the threshold between these frequencies during our life. The being showed me how to sing with my children and radiate light. We did so and enjoyed the singing and the sun shining, inside and outside.

XLIII.

I entered hyperspace and there were benevolent beings I could not see. They told me I could come for a nice ride when I wanted to. So I went along and visited our solar system. How beautiful the stars around, how beautiful the planets. The planets lived, they actually radiated consciousness. I flew through our solar system, in full bliss, pure joy, amazed by this beautiful creation.

XLIV.

I was in the Salão and opened my eyes. I perceived a field of knowledge. It was beautiful and I watched in awe. The field contained all the knowledge humankind ever thought of and it was stored in this field like light waves radiating through space. Common reality was still in place, yet this field started to shimmer through common reality.

XLV.

I entered hyperspace and there were benevolent beings I could not see. They showed me my own DNA, sequencing information all the time. A marvelous view, how these strings of information continuously coded and decoded information into strings of molecules. A constant stream of communication between my DNA and the living cell. How awesome life can be when one really sees.

XLVI.

I entered hyperspace and met a being called Juramidam. He, or maybe a she, was beautiful, radiant with love. Juramidam is connected to the group of travelers entering hyperspace with the force of the Daime. He stayed above the group of travelers, nourishing the group with his intentions to evolve towards more light, more consciousness.

XLVII.

I entered hyperspace and met a radiant being. He invited me to follow him and we entered a tunnel under the earth. It was filled with crystals, reflecting light. The system of tunnels was huge and we travelled a long way, just looking with awe at the marvel of these crystals.

XLVIII.

I was in the Salão and was seated just behind a fellow traveler. When I looked over my shoulder, I saw this traveler walk around, while he was sitting still right in front of me. He appeared at two places in the same moment. After the ritual I told him I had seen him at two places in the same moment. He replied ‘Yes, I was in quantum superposition.’

XLIX.

I opened my eyes after the ritual ended. I saw every movement, every sound, moving through the space in absolute oneness. It was like every movement was part of a big harmony, an orchestra of tuned movements. Someone moved his hand, what looked like a ripple in a continuüm and this movement was completed by someone else moving his head, someone else laughing. It appeared like frequencies resonating through the room in an absolute in-tune harmony in which not even the smallest shiver could escape this being part of the whole.
